I’m currently offering private in-home dog training and behavior consulting sessions in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.

Whether you have a new puppy or older dog, I’ll show you how to train and reinforce skills and how to shape confident, cooperative behavior. The methods used are fun, reward-based and don’t include outdated techniques that use force or intimidation.

Sessions are an hour long and are personally customized for you and your dog.

Virtual training

I also offer virtual training and behavior sessions via Zoom. Virtual sessions are really fun and productive, and the next best thing to being there in person. They’re live and interactive, not pre-taped videos or slide presentations. They’re in real time, so I can see you working with your dog, and you can see me showing you demonstrations. They’re also recorded and you’ll receive a copy so you can review it at your convenience. I’ll coach you through all the training skills or behavior modification practice. Don’t worry, you don’t have to clean your house!

How the sessions are organized

During your initial consultation we’ll review your dog’s behavior history questionnaire and identify your goals for training or behavior modification. We’ll collaborate on creating a training plan and schedule, and we’ll also have time to begin training one or two skills you’d like your dog to have, or address the behaviors you’d like him to stop!

Subsequent sessions build on the previous one and focus on skills training and on shaping confident, cooperative behavior.

Pricing

All sessions are one hour long and cost $200.00 each.  We’ll work together to design a program that will be effective for you, your family and your dog.
